Republican politicians in the United States have been getting increasingly weird recently. That's not to say they weren't weird during the presidencies of Barack Obama, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, etc. They were. It's just that the steady downward descent has fallen off a cliff in the Donald Trump era. It should be noted that when Republicans like Mike Davis talk about putting "Anchor Babies" in cages, they're referring to children who we born in the United States, have lived their whole lives in the United States, and are American citizens. The Trump campaign must have completed some polling recently that demonstrated how unpopular Project 2025 is with the general public. As a result, Trump rushed to Truth Social to tweet about how he knows nothing about the project or the people working on it.  This is a lie. Trump's aides are the ones behind Project 2025.
